Earlier this week, the new "Marbles Live" album hit the shelves in retail
shops across the UK and Europe. This 1-CD release is taken from the "Marbles
on the Road" DVD soundtrack, and features the "Marbles" portion of the set,
plus the encore 'Estonia'. So many of you were raving about how great the
sound on the DVD was, we decided to listen to you and get it out there - and
it should be 'budget priced' as well, so won't cost an arm and a leg!

You can get more information on this release from
www.marillion.com/music/albums/marbles-live.htm - but it's worth mentioning
that Racket Records will NOT be selling this title - you can ONLY get it
from retail shops across the UK and Europe... for our overseas fans, there
are plenty of online retailers that will ship outside of Europe, so don't
worry, you should be able to get hold of it!

At the same time, we have also released "Marbles by the Sea" - and THIS one
is ONLY available from Racket Records! This live double-CD is the complete
live performance of the full double album version of Marbles (yes, including
Ocean Cloud!), recorded earlier this year at the Marillion Weekend 2005.

We just finished recording the band commentary track for the 'Colours and
Sound' documentary DVD yesterday (which should be out some time early next
year) and are now setting up to rehearse for the Not Quite Christmas Tour.
Several shows have already sold out, and tickets are running low for the
rest - this is probably the last time we'll be playing live until late next
year, so we hope to see you there!

Beh, potevano esserlo da ieri, da quando per es sono tornati sotto ai riflettori grazie al successo di Marbles.

Invece ringraziando Dio alle superiori avevo un amico metallaro che mi fece ascoltare il loro primo LP, e fu subito amore.

Ora non chiedermi cosa c'entra il metallaro coi Marillion...

magari tutti i metallari conoscessero i Marillion in giro si sentirebbe un metal migliore

se tu pensi che, ai miei tempi, suonavo in un gruppo che definirono technical death metal e, pur "componendo" io i pezzi, ascoltavo sempre Rush, DepecheMode, Toto, U2, TearsForFears, TalkTalk, Oldfield, TribalTech, etc.. etc.. etc..

non c'è metallaro peggiore di quello che ascolta sempre e solo metal, penso.. anche perchè non sanno quanto di "metal" ci sarebbe in un pezzo come SHOUT dei TearsForFears, ad esempio

tu pensa che io ancora non trovo il loro DVD MARBLES LIVE :o

i "nuovi" Marilion hanno deciso di non utilizzare la rete distributiva canonica, quindi le loro uscite non penso si possano trovare facilmente sugli scaffali dei negozi.

devi andare direttamente nel loro sito ed ordinarlo li, come ho fatto io per Marbles

Hello all,

Well, last week we sent you an eWeb telling you that we were going to
release a single early next year and that we'd like you to help us make the
video. Since then things have changed.....

Here's what the plan WAS: We were going to release a single in January 2006
and hopefully get to Number One.

We have since had a talks with various people and here is the new improved
plan!

We are still going to release a single but at a later date and follow it
immediately with a brand new album. We decided that there was little point
having a number one single if there was no album straight afterwards as we
would have built momentum with nowhere to go!

So we would STILL like you to help make the video, but the deadline for
submitting clips to us has been extended to the end of March 2006. Sorry if
any of you have been rushing around filming to get this ready but please
still send it to us.

So that's the plan as it stands at the moment. After the 'Not Quite Xmas
Tour' we will get straight back into the studio to write some new songs (we
have 5 finished already). We'll try and keep you updated and informed as we
go along.

See you in November/December - and remember there are more shows available
but they are selling fast, so.. Skates on! and we'll see you on the ice..

Non so se li hai visti dal vivo di recente ma sono veramente da pelle d'oca e lacrime agli occhi per l'emozione.

Peccato solo che l'ultimo disco appena uscito non sia ai livelli del penultimo.... ma obbiettivamente viste le vette raggiunte da Marbles era veramente difficile.

...e cmq la title track da sola vale sia l'acquisto del CD che la partecipazione al concerto
