Lettore DVD Helios X3620: qualcuno ce l'ha?

Ho fatto una ricerca sul forum ma (a parte un breve cenno in una discussione) non ho trovato maggiori info su questo interessante prodotto.

Qualcuno per caso lo ha e può postare qualche reale impressione d'uso?

Certo che è proprio bruttarello Per fortuna che dell'estetica non me ne frega niente..

Da quello che leggo nel sito, sembra proprio interessante, legge di tutto, anche i wmv-hd. Fa l'upscale anche in component se non mi sbaglio.

Davvero interessante..una valida alternativa ai vari zensonic z500 & Co.

Restano due dubbi:

1) L'aggancio dei 50hz con materiale PAL.
2) Il nome dello scaler interno non mi è sembrato di vederlo. Sarà un sigma?.

Sarebbe bello poter vedere un test di questo prodotto.

Ps: c'è da dire che il prezzo non è proprio "cheap"...

Infatti. E' proprio per i motivi che tu esponi che stavo chiedendo pareri di utilizzo. Speriamo che qualcuno ne sappia qualcosa...

Sembra uno di quegli amplificatori vecchissimi con le maniglie

Ma certo la semplicità può avere il suo fascino...e poi quando si ha un vpr di solito si gradiscono pochi led (ed alcuni lettori hanno dei fari).

Aspettiamo che qualcuno ci "illumini"...

Questa frase risponde ad una nostra domanda.

Yesterday I saw the Helios X3620 HD connected with component to a Optoma H79. I saw High Definition files from all type of formats. It also supported QuickTime. The unit was an evaluation model, which was distributed to different dealers in Belgium for beta testing. There were still some bugs of course but what I saw was very impressive. The DVD drive can be user replaced with a Blue-ray or HD drive in the future. It also has a Lan interface for video streaming. It will hit the European market as soon the bugs are fixed.

Questo commento è positivo, anche se magari il merito dell'immagine "very impressive" potrebbe essere esclusivamente dell'optoma.

Guys, don't bother with this player, NeoDigits clearly has issues. The unit I just pulled from the box seems defective. The unit powers on but the tray will not open. I have a 500+ dollar paper weight.

Also, I tried playing Amazon, WMV when i took the unit apart, and the WMV would not even play!

Maybe they expect you to play WMV files hooked up to a network to obtain DRM, but that defeats the whole purpose of a stand alone player that plays WMV. (i already have a HTPC that plays WMV...as do most of us)

The unit that was sent to me was in horrible operating condition, would not open, and clearly was not quality control tested before shipping. To my best knowledge, the unit was not damaged in anyway during shipping. It was just poorly manufactured.

Furthermore, NeoDigits has not offered to replace the unit or send a drive that will fit correctly. They are basically dragging this out. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone. The sad part is that we have numerous players from them already, so it's not like we are a new customer to NeoDigits.

Questa roba invece direi che non è affatto positiva.

Ma i punti vendita sono solo in america? Perchè se così fosse sarei scoraggiato in partenza.. A questo punto in pole position con il sigma rimane lo zensonic z500.
