BD LOTR "Extended": tutti i dettagli

Warner ufficializza l'arrivo dell'edizione "Extended" Blu-ray della trilogia de "Il Signore degli Anelli". Negli Stati Uniti e in Italia la disponibilità nei negozi è prevista per il prossimo 28 giugno e il cofanetto prevede ben 15 dischi

Ve lo avevamo già anticipato qualche settimana fa (vedi news), ma ora è arrivata la conferma ufficiale dalla divisione statunitense di Warner Home Video: l'edizione Blu-ray "Extended" della trilogia de "Il Signore degli Anelli" arriverà nei negozi USA a partire dal prossimo 28 giugno. Warner ha anche svelato i dettagli dell'edizione, con il cofanetto in "Limited Extended Edition" che comprenderà ben 15 dischi: 6 Blu-ray e 9 DVD. Ogni capitolo della saga sarà suddiviso su 2 Blu-ray, in modo da mantenere elevato il bit-rate di encoding e l'audio inglese sarà come per le edizioni cinematografiche in DTS HD Master Audio 6.1.

Secondo quanto comunicato da Warner, il primo capitolo della saga (che aveva suscitato diverse perplessità in merito alla qualità video da parte degli appassionati) beneficerà di un nuovo master che è stato ulteriormente rimasterizzato e telecinemato in 2K. Complessivamente la nuova edizione potrà contare su un totale di 26 ore di contenuti extra, con i commenti audio inseriti nei Blu-ray, mentre i documentari saranno suddivisi su i 9 DVD. Venendo all'edizione italiana, abbiamo appena sentito i responsabili Medusa, che ci hanno confermato che anche per la nostra penisola l'uscita del cofanetto "Extended" è prevista per il 28 giugno. Anche in Italia l'edizione prevede 15 dischi, ma ci vorrà anche qualche giorno per avere tutti i dettagli tecnici, mentre i contenuti speciali dovrebbero essere gli stessi dell'edizione USA.

    Ho letto ma non ho ben capito se ci saranno anche le versione estese in dvd...............se cosi fosse le mie le vendero' ad un amico.

    Si sa quanto verra' a costare ???

    i 9 dvd dovrebbero essere solo di documentari

    la fregatura che solo l'audio inglese sarà HD....

    sparo un prezzo 110 euro

    I dvd dovrebbero essere solo per i contenuti speciali.

    Per il prezzo, temo che 110 euro non basteranno... caspitolina.

    Quanto ai 2 BD per ogni film... certo son lunghi, certo è segno che non risparmieranno sul br, ma davvero un film intero non sta più in un solo BD?

    E Avatar allora? non mi direte che è limitato in audio o video.

    E' una noia a metà film fermarsi e cambiare disco, visto anche quanto impiegano i BD a caricarsi.

    Boh ma non potevano fare dei master in 4K (che questi film li meritano tutti) invece che dei telecinema 2K? Poi perchè utilizzare tutti quei DVD quando sarebbe bastato utilizzare un Blu Ray per ognuno dei film (sempre a 720P) per i contenuti speciali? Invece che 15 dischi ne avrebbero utilizzati 9. Spero solo che non lo facciano pagare oro.

    Assolutamente mio dal day 1
    Sono quasi 5 anni che compro dvd e bd (in saldi) dopo un paio di mesi dall'uscita con soddisfazione per la mia passione e per il portafoglio.
    Ma LOTR non può aspettare.
    Il problema sarà cacciare per 12 ore la famiglia da casa in modo da (ri)vederlo di filato con i soliti tre amici matti che mi seguono in queste maratone

    sui siti inglesi sta intorno ai 75€.... contando che la esalogia di star wars viene sui 90€, è anche tanto... i 110€ prospettati sopra sono fuori da ogni logica, a quel prezzo per quanto mi riguarda se la tengono (anche perché non c'è nulla che ne giustifichi il prezzo, son solo dischi e nessun gadget)
