HT italian ! Today I am installing SDI in a DBOX2 Philips satellite receiver and I have already been succesful doing this in the
DBOX1 and DBOX2 Nokia boxes.
What are the satellite receivers you are using in Italy,
maybe there is one that has the necessary BT656 port ?

DBOX1 is the same of Nokia 9500 or 9200.
Chip video is Philips SAA7124 or SAA7183,
all was easy or there were any problem?

Uwe do you know the Dreambox? it's made by dream multimedia as DBOXII.

I have checked the Dreambox it cannot be modified.

Insomma Spatz ha implementato l'uscita SDI sui suoi ricevitori sat fra cui il celebre Dbox tedesco. Tale ricevitore e' identico al "mitico" Nokia Mediamaster 9500 e, in versione Common interface, al Nokia Mediamaster 9600 (del quale possiedo due esemplari).
Fra tedesco e inglese, amarone e sassicaia, ho capito bene di cosa si tratta?
Egoisticamente parlando, la cosa interessa gli eventuali possessori di pj digitali e non i tritubisti ... o no? Aspettiamo altri particolari.

I think you are wrong SDI gives a great picture not only on digital
projectors but it also improves your PQ on a TT.
Anyway the DBOXII I tried today is the Philips edition and it has different timing to the NOKIA
This means new programming again.
