le specifiche sono alla comparativa full sopra.
certo se' va' il 24p e' una bomba questo pannello
possiedo la serie 67 full e sono molto soddisfatto , le immagini e giochi con ps3 una goduria continua.

Toshiba Serie Z: Novità sulla Gestione del 1080@24p
Ne approfitto, dopo lunghe "scorribade" sui forum yankee (avsforum più che altro), per segnalare come la "Serie Z" Toshiba di prossima uscita gestirà l'input a 24p.
Mi permetto, quindi, a questo proposito, di "incollare" la seguente risposta, a domanda diretta, da parte del Customer Service USA della Toshiba:

Thanks for writing!
Since the LX177 supports 1080p at 24 frame it would not be 3:2 pull down you would use 3:2 when converting from 24 frame to 30 frame. There would be no conversion when viewing 1080p 24 frame content.
On the LX177 set it operates at a refresh rate of 120 hz which would allow the screen to be refreshed 5 times when viewing 24 frame material (24 x 5 = 120).

In europa credo che le frequenze orizzontali saranno 96hz (in realtà poco meno) e 100hz. Così come i tv gestiscono sia i 50 e i 60hz....
Staremo a vedere: in quel caso si tratterebbe di 4:4 ma è solo una mia supposizione.
Di seguito riporto invece le cartteristiche del nuovo Regza H3300, appena annunciato in Giappone - è OT rispetto a questo Thread - ma parte di queste caratteristiche saranno anche presenti sulla Serie Z...:

Aggiorno il tema "Toshiba Z3030 e 24p" con le ultime notizie riguardante la gestione di questo input, introducendo il concetto di "Clearframe", il nome del tool proprietario della Toshiba:
Clearframe, will do two basic things. First it converts any signal’s native frame rate to 60fps, through a priority pull-down method and then it doubles the 60fps to 120fps through a process of inserting clear frames in between each scaled video frame.
This is different than any other CE manufacturers as it creates a smoother transition to 60fps and does not take away brightness or artificially add to the measured contract ratio that other technologies of frame rate conversion can introduce.
This Toshiba process helps eliminate motion blur from fast moving objects as well as camera panning. From my initial comparison of a few TV's next to each other I say it works very well.
A domanda diretta ("Ma i BD sono fluidi?") mi è stato risposto "si, nessuna incertezza". Ovviamente non mi fido manco per niente ma non per scarsa fiducia in chi mi ha risposto ma solo perché questa percezione è spesso troppo soggettiva. Il rischio della fluidità imposta da 120hz è poi una dimnuzione della nitidezza delle immagini che apparirebbero quindi più "morbide". Non che sia un difetto ma bisogna comuque valutare con i propri occhi.

Il perché? Credo semplicemente che gran parte delle elettroniche interne continuino ad utilizzare il clock a 60hz per altre funzioni (orologio di sistema, ecc...).
Detta così non mi suona per niente bene...
Scusate ma oggi in un grosso centro mi hanno detto che ad ottobre esce questo LCD mod. 52LX177 ora visto che non conosco l’inglese forse mi potete dare una mano, (i numeri però sembrano buoni) o mi sbaglio?

Seguo diversi forum americani: al momento sembra che il tv sia caratterizzato da una dominante "verde" (green push) abbastanza pronunciata e, non vi vorrei dire una balla, temo che non sia una semplice, leggera "dominante" ma un vero e prorio difetto del pannello, per cui molti lo stanno o mandando in asssitenza o restituendo.

Il problema è stato segnalato a Toshiba. Il dubbio è che si tratti di una partita di pannelli difettosi, perché una forte dominante verde è proprio una delle caratteristiche di schermi LCD con molti anni di servizio o comunque prodotti male. C'è anche chi afferma che in realtà, mediante il menù di servizio ed una meticolosa calibrazione, sia possibile eliminare il green push dalla scala dei grigi....alcuni "rumors" parlano, poi, di un possibile aggiornamento firmware a settembre per risolvere il problema (il che escluderebbe che i pannelli siano "fisicamente" difettosi).
Su avsforum stanno organizzando un interessante shoot out con i seguenti modelli:
Sharp's LC-52D92U
Toshiba's 52LX177 (Toshiba Serie Z)
LG's 52LB5D
Pioneer's Elite PRO1150HD
Tutti LCD a 120hz eccetto, ovviamente, il Pioneer che funge da riferimento di eccellenza.
Il test prevederà anche un giudizio sulla gestione del segnale 1080@24p per quel che concerne la fluidità.
