Qualche giorno fa vi davamo notizia (vedi link) di un'indiscrezione che dava per certa l'uscita statunitense del Blu-ray di "Transformers" per il prossimo 2 settembre. La voce è stata ora confermata direttamente da Paramount Home Entertainment che ha anche rilasciato i dettagli sull'edizione. Oltre ai contenuti speciali già presenti nell'edizione HD DVD, saranno anche inclusi extra con funzionalità interattiva BD-Live e soprattutto tracce audio senza perdita Dolby TrueHD e PCM. Se pensiamo già all'ottima qualità delle incisioni Dolby Digital Plus delle edizioni HD DVD, non vediamo l'ora di poterci gustare queste tracce lossless (sperando che vengano scelte anche per l'edizione italiana). E' stata anche confermata la traccia video 1080/24p con codifica AVC.
