BD LOTR "Extended": tutti i dettagli

Warner ufficializza l'arrivo dell'edizione "Extended" Blu-ray della trilogia de "Il Signore degli Anelli". Negli Stati Uniti e in Italia la disponibilità nei negozi è prevista per il prossimo 28 giugno e il cofanetto prevede ben 15 dischi

Ve lo avevamo già anticipato qualche settimana fa (vedi news), ma ora è arrivata la conferma ufficiale dalla divisione statunitense di Warner Home Video: l'edizione Blu-ray "Extended" della trilogia de "Il Signore degli Anelli" arriverà nei negozi USA a partire dal prossimo 28 giugno. Warner ha anche svelato i dettagli dell'edizione, con il cofanetto in "Limited Extended Edition" che comprenderà ben 15 dischi: 6 Blu-ray e 9 DVD. Ogni capitolo della saga sarà suddiviso su 2 Blu-ray, in modo da mantenere elevato il bit-rate di encoding e l'audio inglese sarà come per le edizioni cinematografiche in DTS HD Master Audio 6.1.

Secondo quanto comunicato da Warner, il primo capitolo della saga (che aveva suscitato diverse perplessità in merito alla qualità video da parte degli appassionati) beneficerà di un nuovo master che è stato ulteriormente rimasterizzato e telecinemato in 2K. Complessivamente la nuova edizione potrà contare su un totale di 26 ore di contenuti extra, con i commenti audio inseriti nei Blu-ray, mentre i documentari saranno suddivisi su i 9 DVD. Venendo all'edizione italiana, abbiamo appena sentito i responsabili Medusa, che ci hanno confermato che anche per la nostra penisola l'uscita del cofanetto "Extended" è prevista per il 28 giugno. Anche in Italia l'edizione prevede 15 dischi, ma ci vorrà anche qualche giorno per avere tutti i dettagli tecnici, mentre i contenuti speciali dovrebbero essere gli stessi dell'edizione USA.

    Avevo perso questa news!!!!
    Finalmente!!! Sono anni che l'aspetto ... essendomi rifiutato di comprare la versione cinematografica!

    anche io ho rinunciato alla versione cinematografica per attendere quella extended. per un appassionato l'acquisto è d'obbligo a prescidere dalla cifra lo si sà, ma attendere quanto basta per risparmiare qualche euro non sarà una grande fatica

    Io ho il cofano delle cinematografiche(mi fu regalato,io non l'avrei preso per principio).
    Trovo scorretto proporre le extended ad appena un anno dalle altre,ma il mercato lo conosciamo,ormai...

    Aspettavo anch'io con ansia questa notizia e il fatto che le abbiano riviste per la parte video non può che rendermi ulteriormente contento

    Non è che potevano farla uscire troppo in là, d'altronde chi è appassionato della saga è proprio questa versione che aspettava! E quella cinematografica l'ha giustamente lasciata sugli scaffali.

    Anche io ho preferito lasciare la versione cinematografica sullo scaffale,anche perchè non avendo la sala finita, tutta questa fretta non l'ho mai avuta,quindi alla fine ho preferito aspettare.
    P.S.Poi possedendo già la extended in dvd la smania non mi è presa e così appena uscirà l'extended in bd in contemporanea terminazione sala HT la comprerò.

    BEH.. CI SIAMO.

    Speriamo che Warner faccia meglio il suo mestiore sul lato video riportando questa pellicola ai fasti del dvd extended.....

    Sul lato audio: i BD della cinematografica (che ammetto di aver comprato... ...ma che faccio fatica a rivedere, considerandola MONCA) avevano IMHO un audio eccellente.

    Clipping non me ne ricordo.

    Se poi sulle extended MEDUSA, considerando che ha tutto lo spazio che serve, ci metterà due tracce italiche lossless (DTS MASTER E PCM NON COMPRESSO.... ma mi accontenterei anche del Dolby True HD + PCM non compresso) lasciando inalterata la traccia inglese lossless, avremo finalmente un LOTR al livello che merita .

    Io ho notato clipping nei parlati del canale centrale quando qualcuno alza la voce, non negli effetti speciali.

    Prezzo indecente

    Su Amazon.it a 129,99 (periodico?): un prezzo offensivo per gli appassionati Italiani (la maiuscola è voluta).

    Per chi è registrato su Amazon.it suggerisco di aggiungere un commento (di protesta) tra le recensioni clienti del prodotto, qualcuno lo ha già fatto e io mi appresto a seguire l'esempio.

    Se poi si riuscisse a protestare direttamente presso il (poco corretto) distributore italiano...

    Qualcuno aveva ironizzato quando dissi che 110 euro non sarebbero bastati, almeno all'inizio!
