Matrox annuncia la nuova Parhelia DL256PCI, DVI DUal Link per pilotare display fino a risoluzione di 2560x1600 punti.

Con la disponibilità del nuovo display Apple da 30" di diagonale e con risoluzione di 2560x1660 punti, si è subito presentato il problema della scarsa disponibilità di adattatori grafici in grado di pilotare gli oltre 4 milioni di punti a disposizione.

La maggior parte di schede grafiche con uscita DVI doppia non consentono il pilotaggio di alte risoluzioni a causa del limite intrinseco delle uscite DVI Single Link, bloccate a risoluzione SXGA.

Con la nuova Parhelia DL256PCI, Matrox rende disponibile un adattatore grafico che dispone di doppia uscita DVI Dual Link  e doppia uscita analogica con RAMDAC a 400 MHz per canale.

Ricordiamo che la GPU utilizzata nella scheda Parhelia ha un core a 64 bit da 66 MHz ed è compatibile con tutti gli slot a 32 bit e 64 bit sia di tipo PCI che PCI-X.

The Matrox Parhelia DL256 PCI is a 64-bit, 66 MHz graphics card that's slot compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit PCI and PCI-X slots. Incorporating dual 400 MHz RAMDACs and dual TMDS transmitters, the Parhelia DL256 PCI enables dual link DVI support for resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 as well as support for an analog VGA display at resolutions up to 2048 x 1536. An included S-video and composite video output cable combines with Matrox's PureVideo Preview technology to provide full screen video playback to an NTSC or PAL video monitor. Bundled software includes the Matrox PowerDesk-HF utility suite, an intuitive and feature rich interface for adjusting board-level and multi-display parameters, and WYSIWYG video output plug-ins for Adobe® Premiere® Pro, Adobe After Effects®, Adobe Photoshop®, Discreet™ Combustion® 3, Discreet 3ds max™ and NewTek LightWave 3D®.     miii non ci posso credere un'altra scheda...

    video dopo NVIDIA e ATI dedicata al pilotaggio di quella bestia che è il 30 pollici Apple!
