Ok... ma girando su internet il 500 PRO non lo trovo in vendita da nessuna parte...

Su Amazon hanno solo il 500, che anche mi attira... però, visto che a quanto ho letto, il 500 PRO ha un netto miglioramento per quanto riguarda la "parte musicale" , cosa che comunque mi interessa e quindi preferisco aspettare se non stiamo parlando di attese molto lunghe...

Ti costa un po di più di trasporto (poco...mi pare una decina di euro) perchè è dalla Francia ovviamente...
...ed a stima anticipi solo di una settimana...

A poi ci dovrebbe essere la questione della garanzia... europea 1 anno, italiana 2 anni...
e per correttezza ti aggiungo che non so se in caso dovessi usufruirne, rischi magari di doverlo
mandare in Francia...

Finalmente arrivato, ad esattamente un anno dall'ordine, con 120€ di dogana corrisposti a DHL.
Ancora una volta, brava Cloudmedia! Un autentico capolavoro!

Ahimè la dogana non dipende da loro... Certo che alla fine ci ho risparmiato forse 50 euro

Permetti se preciso (tu sicuramente lo saprai), ma per chi non lo sapesse, acquistando dall'estero (extra UE), ti becchi:
[Valore merce+spese spedizione + %dazio] + %IVA + spese sdoganamento

Devo pure dire, che quando mi hanno contattato per la spedizione, gli ho chiesto di dichiarare il solo valore (ho lasciato
che dichiarassero il valore "pieno" per motivi assicurativi), ma senza i costi di spedizione, proprio perchè da noi non
fanno distinzione e paghi le tasse anche sui costi di spedizione ...ed in effetti un 20 di euro li ho risparmiati...
però immaginavo avessero colto il "messaggio" per tutti i clienti italiani... invece...

Vado ad aggiornare Android e provare ad installare SPMC ...chissà se si pianta tutto ...

SPMC gira (è il fork più aggiornato di Kodi su Android) ma ci sono degli evidenti problemi, che però imho
dipendono più dall'acerbo sistema operativo che dall'applicazione in se... mi spiego, mancano tuttora i settaggi audio
(ed un file browser di sistema) nelle impostazioni di Android (in pratica c'è solo attiva/disattiva i suoni di sistema)
per cui si esce solo in 2.0 ....
e riesco a leggere da NAS (anche se i file più pesanti "scattano") ma non dall'HDD locale che non vedo nel
browser di SPMC

Pur trovandola più reattiva dopo l'aggiornamento, al momento la parte android fa solo da browser direi...

Android OTA Update Steps:
1. Power off the A-500 PRO/A-500 PRO-U
2. Toggle the dual boot switch to Android
3. Power up the device and boot into Android
4, Copy the downloaded file into the root directory of the USB thumb drive (FAT32 only)
5. Plug the USB thumb drive into USB port of A-500 PRO/A-500 PRO-U
6. Launch System Updater app in home screen
7. In System Updater, turn on Wipe Data and Wipe Cache option
8. Select the downloaded OTA file from USB thumb drive with OTA Package menu
9. Click Start Install to start the OTA update process

If you failed to boot into Android and need to do recovery to Android partition, you can follow the recovery steps as below

In effetti sono due macchine completamente diverse in un hardware.
Né più né meno di un A-500 + un Chameleon su un hardware aggiornato.
Ho notato che da quando è stata annunciata hanno fatto uscire valanghe di nuovi firmware, evidentemente destinati anche a questa...
