Si penso però che anche noi ci stiamo ripetendo, bisogna aspettare che escano i prodotti . E sembra che sará una lunga attesa, wisto che A95K è atteso per l'estate e i prodotti Samsung Visual Display non sono ancora nemmeno stati annunciati (per l'estate si parla del lancio dei WRGB LG prodotti da Samsung).... che fra l'altro mi fa dubitare dei numeri: come pensano di vendere 1 QD-OLED ogni 4 WRGB (500.000 vs 2.000.000) visto il costo elevato che avranno e il lancio ritardato?
Finalmente un osservatore diverso ha potuto mettere le mani sul Sony a95k https://www.flatpanelshd.com/focus.p...&id=1643099190 non ancora misurandolo ma almeno vedendolo in condizioni corrette e le prime impressioni sembrano non troppo eccitanti anche se buone, rimane la componente prezzo e la concorrenza che comunque farà bene in campo OLED.

Comparing the two screens with 4K SDR content revealed no relevant differences to speak of, which is hardly surprising with the two screens operating in standard dynamic range, i.e. Rec.709 color gamut and lower peak brightness. With 4K HDR content, we observed some differences with A95K delivering more saturated colors in some scenes. It also had more headroom in brightness. However, the differences were subtle in the video clips we saw – A90J is already an excellent OLED TV."
Strano il fatto che rilevino una minore aggressività del abl di cui anche Sony sembra essere stupita e che IMHO potrebbe anche essere dovuta ad un bug più che ad una feature...
"A more interesting observation happened after 10-15 minutes of talking to Sony's representatives towards the end of our presentation. A95K and A90J were left idle in the Google TV menus and after a while A90J initiated its dimming algorithm to reduce the risk of burn-in. A95K remained bright and alive. I pointed out the difference which surprised even the Sony representatives"
A quanto pare le differenze visive, già con le demo che le dovrebbero esaltare, sono minime e visibili solo in HDR. Cosa che era prevedibile visto che i risultati raggiunti dai pannelli wrgb sono già più che ottimi se ben pilotati. Resta però l'enorme differenza di prezzo che a questo punto non sembra giustificata in proporzione all'aumento delle prestazioni. Sarà dura vendere questi modelli se il prezzo risulta molto più alto del modello con pannello LG.
Effettivamente essendo anche questo pannello basato sulla tecnologia Oled, il fatto che non diminuisca la luminosità in idle mode sembra più un bug che una scelta.
