Windows MCE + Skystar2 BDA+UDR FUNZIONA!!

Un paio di giorni or sono visitando un forum di uno dei tanti fallimentari plugin per intergrare la Skystar2 con il fontend di MCE leggo di UDR (Universal DVB-S PlugIn)

installo i drivers BDA beta technisat e UDR...e, nonostante la skystar 2 non sia elencata fra le compatibili, come per magia appare la voce del menu "televisione" e tutto funziona a meraviglia.

l'unico problema e un blocco che avviene quando si spegne il comp, tutto sommato un peccato veniale. per il resto il funzionamento è stabile e veloce , almeno nel cambio canale, non tanto nella scansione del satellite..

pare che in italia di sto soft UDR (Universal DVB-S PlugIn) non se ne sappia niente, qualcuno ha esperienza??

Installation:
=============

Option A - New installation of Windows Media Center Edition 2005


- Complete Installation of Windows Media Center Edition 2005 (Cd1 + Cd2) or Windows Vista with MCE
- Installation of all the latest Windows patches, Security Patches, specific Windows Media Center or Windows Vista
patches and rollups
- Reboot needed after critical security patch and rollup installation (Windows Update)
- Complete Driver Installation - DVB-S Tuner with latest BDA driver
- DVD Decoder Installation (Software DVD Player e.g. PureDVD, PowerDVD, WINDVD)
- Reboot
- Universal DVB Setup - Installation of the DVB-S Application - Virtual Driver Installation
- Reboot after Setup is completed
- Run Windows Media Center TV SETUP and configure your Tuner Device
- Universal DVB-S Plug In Overlay Window will appear - choose the correct tuner technology
- Please choose Channel List DVB-S ASTRA 19,2 EAST Germany
- By default ASTRA 19,2 Local (Most of the German channels, Shopping, News and Music) is pre configured through the
Universal DVB-S Plug In - You can change the Satellite via the DVB-S Configuration Plug In under More Programs
- Follow the Windows Media Center SETUP Assistant and Finish the Configuration


Option B - Already Pre Installed Windows Media Center Edition 2005


- Run Windows Media Center Edition 2005 /Vista MCE "First Run" - OOBE (Out of Box Experience)
- Run SETUP which is available on the DESKTOP or under START-ALL PROGRAMS-Universal DVB
- Universal DVB Setup - Installation of the DVB-S Application - Virtual Driver Installation
- Reboot after SETUP is completed
- Run Windows Media Center TV SETUP and configure your Tuner Device
- Universal DVB-S Plug In Overlay Window will appear - choose the correct tuner technology
- Please choose Channel List DVB-S ASTRA 19,2 EAST Germany

provato molto velocemente con ss2 , win vista e driver bda funziona , appena ho tempo cerco di capire come fare una sintonia personalizzata

mm io ho installato il driver bda e l'u-dvb però in media center quando faccio la scansione dei canali non trova un tubo :cry:

bisogna configurare il diseq da qualche parte in media center , ora non ricordo bene perchè l'ho disinstallato mi pare fosse configurato come astra 19.2 per default

il fatto che qui la parabola condominiale sia monofeed su hotbird spiegherebbe la cosa

guarda che funziona anche con una condominiale su hotbird devi solo trovare il menu e settare hotbird come diseq A/A oppure settare no diseq

intendevo che essendo di default su astra è normale che non prenda un tubo .. adesso cercherò di capire dove è il menù

non trovo come fare ...

non accade ... quando faccio configure tv tuner mi fa seguire la procedura e non appare niente del genere

sotto more programs non c'è ... dato che nel media center di vista non lo vedo proprio more programs

eseguendo a manina ConfigEng.mcl dentro a C:\Program Files\Universal DVB Receiver\Configuration mi fa settare il diseqc .. però una volta impostato su hotbird quando faccio lo scan dei canali vista va in BSOD segnalando un problema creato da KS.sys ... boh ..

x l'universal è stato già segnalato il sito reycom che è l'unico posto che ho trovato anch'io x scaricarlo

su win mce 2005, nel frontend/altri programmi appaiono due altre icone, una x il televideo e l'altra per il settaggio e da li scegli il satellite,

poi la scansione dal normale frontend di win mce2005 e..... tutto fatto!

ci sarebbe da sistemare la guida TV che ho scaricato solo la prima volta, non c'è nulla però quanto meno ho il numero corrispondente al canale così non divento pazzo a provarli tutti

l'unico vero problema ma sembra non sia l'unico ad averlo è, alla chiusura di windows che il 95 % delle volte si pianta o da errori/ k**.sys

x il resto il funzionamento è stabile e soddisfacente...dopo tanto tempo di link al progdvb....

altro particolare se avvio windows ed uso progdvb x usare la tv con il frontend mce 2005 devo prima spegnere il comp

e viceversa

prgodvb con i simpatici plugin ed il drive BDA funziona nnna cacata!!

della serie paradiso uno c'è nè ma mi sta bene già così

Ho provato a installare il plugin sul pc connesso alla tv lcd e funziona anche con la TT-3200 non male!
Per configuare il diseq bisogna andare in "contenuti multimediali in linea > catalogo programmi" all'interno trovate un icona con scritto dvb con il disegno della chiave inglese.
Io per non fare la scansione di tutto il satellite ho modificato il file adduniversaldvbvista.reg (C:\programmi\universal dvb receiver\registry) , cercate all'interno hotbird 13E e cancellate tutte le frequenze che non vi interessano , io ho lasciato solo 11766 e 11919 per fare una prova.
A questo punto bisogna andare nel registro di configurazione e posizionarsi su "[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODSoft\UniversalDVB\Tr ansponder\" cancellare tutta la cartella Hotbird (0130) e infine far rileggere il file adduniversaldvbvista.reg modificato.
Testato su windows vista + technotrend TT-3200 funziona abbastanza bene compresa la guida tv

Ho provato a installare UDR ma a fine installazione mi dice sempre che non ci sono dei driver dvb-s bda installati... qualcuno mi può dare un link a quelli giusti?

Io ho scaricato l'ultima beta dei technisat ma non c'è verso di farlo andare.
Oppure devo disinstallare la skystar e riaggiornare a mano i driver?

nel file che scarichi dal sito techinsat
i 4.4.1 beta un bell'archivio da 22 mega ti serve solo quello che è contenuto nella cartella BDA che è a sua volta zippato

unzippali in una cartella poi disisnstalli tutti in vecchi driver soft ecc eccc

poi "rileva modifiche hardware" o riavvii e alla richiesta di drivres x la scheda fai puntare alla cartella dove hai unzippato i drivers BDA

dopodik...dovrebbe funzionare
