No, dipende da chi lo distribuisce nei vari paesi. Il bello dell'HD DVD è che, essendo region free, da qualche parte nel mondo c'è sempre un paesello dove il distributore di film locale supporta HD DVD invece che Blu-Ray. Ed il gioco è fatto... se si sa l'inglese, naturalmente. :DCitazione:

Mi pare che una cosa simile accadrà con il chiacchierato "Transformers", titolo Paramount (quindi Hd-dvd/Blu-ray) che in Italia è distribuito da Universal (quindi solo hd-dvd). So che è leggermente diverso da quello spiegato da voi, ma è solo per fare un esempio...
