Beh, anche soltanto a vederlo appare del tutto verosimile aspettarsi un DV-983H con la meccanica Blu-Ray al posto di quella DVD... :rolleyes:
Che dire, se le prestazioni saranno le stesse del lettore DVD, prepariamoci a godere di brutto... :sbavvv: :winner:
Vero, però è anche vero che col bd che è già nativo a 1080p il lettore deve lavorare meno rispetto all'upscaling/deinterlacing dei DVD, quindi magari in pochi riusciranno a notare la differenza da un altro lettore, lieto di essere smentito se non è così!
Ad esempio se riuscisse a ridurre il rumore video potrei pensare di vendere la mia ps3...:)
Permane il dubbio amletico - peraltro già postato - sull'acquisto dell'Edge.
Meglio un lettore di questo tipo o un processore video DVDO? Tenendo presente che si possiede già un lettore DVD-A/SACD? :rolleyes:
e le altre sorgenti (sat-ddt) come le processi senza l'edge?
Il dvdo e questo lettore hanno lo stesso chip di uspcale e deinterlaciamento, quindi la cosa che cambia è che con l'Edge puoi elaborare anche fonti esterne, tipo decoder satellitari e terrestriCitazione:

ricordiamoci che se anche hanno lo stesso chip, non sono lo stesso oggetto! l'oppo è un lettore BR, chi non ne ha lo comprerà per questo, l'altro un processore video, chi come me, ha già un lettore br ed è interessato a farsi processare sat e dvd, andrà sull'edge ;)

ma tu manderesti il blu ray da solo oppure ti faresti processare anche il blu ray
dall' edge, in quest'ultimo modo si avrebbero sostanziali miglioramenti per esempio avendo un blu ray economico ps3 oppure sansung 1500 o sony 300 ???? in pratica conviene farsi processare un blu ray dall' edge ??

dicono di si, io spero tanto che riesca a ridurmi il rumore video (unica cosa "fastidiosa", se così si può definire, della visione dei miei BD) io ho la ps3 che come lettore è ormai superato da quelli fascia alta quindi se l'edge mi migliorasse pure quella (oltre che la visione di sky e dei dvd) sarebbe fantastico!
però onestamente a me suona molto strano, i processori non dovrebbero fare il passtrough dei segnali già 1080p? per giunta il BD è anche 1080p24, non vedo in cosa lo potrebbe processare..
sarebbe utile se qualcuno che ne sa di piu ci dicesse qualcosa di interessante!

I processori per i flussi HD possono fare il passtrough ma se un utente vuole puo' intervenire sul segnale cambiando i parametri che i processori permettono, come correzioni colore, mosquito and noise reduction giusto per citare i piu' comuni, a seconda del processore e della sua categoria ci sono piu' o meno di questi parametri su cui intervenire

One of the major design goals for the BDP-83 is to deliver first-class video quality for both Blu-ray and DVD. We based and expanded upon our top-of-the-line DV-983H up-converting DVD player and fully utilize the unparalleled performance of the VRS by Anchor Bay video processing solution. You can expect all the high-end video features including Source Direct for DVD and Blu-ray, high definition HDMI scaling, Edge and Detail Enhancement options, and 1080p24Hz output for both Blu-ray and DVD.
We did not stop at just video performance. We further refined the audio stage, including the addition of discrete stereo outputs and increasing the power and efficiency of the power supply. For SACD playback, the BDP-83 supports direct DSD over HDMI and DSD-to-analog without any PCM conversion, a very unique feature.
With the BDP-83, we intend to release a full-featured universal Blu-ray Disc player that supports BD Profile 2.0 (BD-Live), DVD, SACD, DVD-Audio, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio. As of this writing, the BDP-83 supports BD Profile 1.1 (BONUSVIEW), DVD-Video, SACD, and bitstreaming of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Progress is being made on a daily basis as our engineers work diligently around the clock to further enable DVD-Audio, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio onboard decoding, and BD Profile 2.0.
The BDP-83 is currently undergoing an extensive and thorough Beta Test Program. We greatly appreciate all the feedback from our beta testers, as without their hard work and extraordinary attention to detail, the BDP-83 would not be the high quality product that our customers have come to expect from us.
As many of our customers eagerly anticipate the release of the BDP83, we are contemplating a "BDP-83 Early Adoption Program" in late December or early January. non ho capito questa:confused: vuol dire che incrementano la qualità audio a 2 canali per cd - sacd - dvdaudio?
Ci ho ripensato ed ho messo in grassetto il prezzo preventivato..., perche', se e' vero, come' vero che c'e' crisi, che i playerBD scendono di prezzo, che il cambio euro-dollaro si e' molto modificato negli ultimi due mesi, il prezzo indicato da Oppo, ben conoscendo i suoi prodotti, resta unaBOMBA (secondo me)
