Thank you for your inquiry. The DDA device was designed specifically for PC applications, therefore technically it does not offer HDCP decrypting. I have found, however, that the device does decrypt various products I use which are all HDCP compliant. I am able to run both 1080i and 720p with
several DVD players as well as HDTV tuner box, all devices which will not work if connected directly to an LCD PC monitor which is not HDCP compliant via the DVI connector.
Although I report the above, note that an HDCP compliant device is design NOT to decrypt HDCP signals, and I cannot personally make any promises nor guarantees that the device will continue to be built in the current form. This may indeed be a mistake in the design or implementation of the
processing chip used.
