Comunque potete seguire qui eventuali sviluppi...Marnie ad esempio parrebbe una delusione...ci sono due SS ottenuti con lo stesso sistema...uno(ottimo)di "L'uomo che sapeva troppo" e uno(pessimo)appunto di Marnie

Non l'ho avuta fisicamente per le mani, ho il pre Universal dedicato ai negozi e l'articolo è presente. Infatti l'ho ordinato. Parliamo del cofano con libretto e coperchio con uccelli svolazzanti :D

...Non c'é ancora una Conferma Ufficiale da parte della Universal, ma dopo i molteplici errori che stanno emergendo dai vari check-disc e non ultimo l'Apparente Disastro per il Trasferimento di Marnie, nelle ultime ore sembra girare la voce in rete di un sempre piú plausibile possibile ritardo nell'uscita del Box Blu Ray, questo per permettere la correzione dei molteplici errori e magari anche qualche discutibile scelta riguardo ad alcuni riversamenti.
Da una fonte che sembra essere Molto vicina ad uno degli addetti ai lavori della Universal, dicendo che data l'Importanza di questa Release, le pulci sono saltate all'orecchio della Universal, che dice di voler Indagare e dare una forte occhiata a tutto ció , lo stesso poi consiglierebbe anche di cancellare i preorder dall'amazon.UK (e forse tutto cio spiegherebbe anche il motivo per cui non é piú disponibile il Box Limited...ma credo anche no...) per evitare credo di dover poi affrontare una possibile sostituzione , personalmente parlando sarei disposto ad aspettare anche fino a natale , pur di vedere questo Box editato con Trasferimenti dei BD corretti senza Errori e senza Dnr alcuno.

Per gli errori credo che faranno qualcosa...per il dnr e altre cose credo non faranno un tubo..si andrebbe troppo in là con la uscita

Io proprio per niente, per quello chiedevo se saranno in vendita singolarmente. Se c'è una cosa che odio in alcuni cofanetti è proprio l'incoerenza qualitativa dei vari titoli. Io prendo solo le edizioni tecnicamente valide. Altrimenti nulla.

I was unaware until this morning that anyone outside of the production process had seen any discs from this set.
Thank you to Nick for posting his observations and for the amount of time he's clearly put into this project. I have not seen anything other than the press release at this point.
Whenever the set comes to me, whether that be for a release date in September or a later one, I'll be bringing the discs to a proper projection setup, as I did with The Sting. This will also be my approach with the Monsters set. There are too many titles, and too many classic films here, for me to just try to cursorily go through them. These are going to be necessarily long and in-depth reviews, as Nick has been demonstrating. The movies deserve that level of attention, and I'm glad Nick has been able to do so, even at the expense of time on the man's birthday. (I'm not sure if that counts as double-time or quadruple time...)
I'm actually not as concerned with the idea of taking the older video documentaries and uprezzing them to HD. I'm fine for those to be in SD and just be included in the package. The point of those documentaries is that they exist in the first place, and that they've been preserved. It's like watching the old season sets of SNL. I don't feel a need to see those videos uprezzed to 1080p, as I can't imagine how much more detail we could get out of them. Not saying that they shouldn't look as good as they can - just that I think they already do look as good as they can.
Please be aware that review copies both of the Hitchcock and Monsters sets may not be as readily available as you might think. These are not the usual 2 or 5 disc editions that the reviewers get. These will be higher price point sets of over 10 Blu-rays and we already have indications that the Monsters sets are limited in their review availability. We are working to make sure that HTF receives review copies of the actual sets to go to market, but this doesn't always play out in this fashion. I still remember Paramount famously restricting their review copies in 2008 or 2009.
One last note re typos in the credits: I recall the Paramount Blu-ray of The Warriors had a typo as well for the job title of a wardrobe person. It was a holdover mistake from the credits done for the "Ultimate Director's Cut", and it was simply ported onto the Blu-ray. Meaning that whoever redid the credits for the 2001 or 2002 DVD blew it then, and the mistake carried over. Really not sure what happened with the Frenzy credits, but there's no question that those must be corrected. It's not just the wrong font, although that's annoying - it's simply wrong to miscredit the crew - the film is a document and those credits are part of it. It would be one thing if the typo had always been there, as has happened with many films. But generating the mistake now is unacceptable and should be corrected.

comunque il fatto di confermare l'uscita...se rimane la data non fa altro che confermare il fatto che non verrà fatto nulla...almeno adesso

Sono Proprio messi Male :D Vendono vendono , ma non capiscono un tubo di nulla...ti sanno dare spesso solo quelle risposte da mail prestampata che personalmente mi irritano davvero molto... A ma oramai da quando parlano con me a telefono stanno imparando !! A sto quí ad esempio l'ho Messo Letteralmente in Croce ..poverino.. :D tant'é che ha Messo addirittura una Squadra di Investigatori Privati per Seguire Attentamente il "Caso" e che mi frá Personalmente sapere i Risvolti ! :D Che Pacchia come sono Cattivo! :D

...Resta comunque il problema che l'ASIN corrisponde all'edizione Tedesca , anche se non credo che cambierebbe molto poichè i dischi per l'Europa saranno tutti identici è ovvio che se uno acquista l'Italiana quella deve essere.
Aspettiamo dunque il responso dal Mio Investigatore Privato di Amazon ! :D ;)

Notably:
* For Frenzy:
"A completely re-rendered opening credit sequence for this new HD master introduces typographical inconsistencies, wrong fonts, typos, and multiple errors in crew members' names. Parts of the film are slathered in noticeable DVNR which causes undesirable effects. I can't recommend this disc. Dear Universal, when the credits get fixed (which hopefully involves simply putting the original credits back, regardless of softness or damage), please dial back the DVNR across the whole film too."
* DVNR issues on "Shadow of a Doubt" (Yes, Universal strikes again)
* Bad "non-film like" encoding on "Marnie" and "Torn Curtain"
* Color shifts during the titles of "Vertigo" and the English audio is reprocessed 5.1 ONLY - no original mono or stereo mix, just faux surround.

Mah... è meglio che ci rimettano mano a questo punto. Certo che non se ne puo' piu' di questo modo di lavorare. Non solo sui blu ray, ormai è una cosa generalizzata.
