Hauppauge HVR-4000 e modulo CI USB

E' da poco stato rilasciato il modulo CI per le schede Hauppauge che dovrebbe consentire di vedere i canali criptati, sia DVB-S, sia DVB-T, almeno in linea teorica. Sul sito pero' dichiarano che non vi e' il supporto per i canali DVB-S2 (nel senso che per ora non sara' possibile decriptarli).

Qualcuno di voi ha qualche idea, proposta o soluzione alternativa?

i saw your new CI interface module that should be used with some cards.
I read that there is no DVB-S2 support for HVR-4000 with CI interface.

Well, may I ask if it never won't be technically possible or you are working on it, and you will release this new feature in some months?

We will be adding support but it wont be for a few months yet (We are so busy at the moment), but it will be added

So could i buy now (or soon) a CI interface and then upgrade only drivers when S2 support will be implemented or do you thin it will be necessary a new HW too?

The answer at the moment is no, as I don't know "IF or When" DVBs2 support will be incorporated into WinTV, so I wouldn't recommend buying one know unless you will use it for non HD channels.
