For convenience, the SW36HT subwoofer provides its own volume control and RCA inputs. It also offers a variable low-pass electronic crossover (defeatable) to smoothly blend its frequencies with those of your other speakers. Auto Power On/Off automatically turns the power on when a signal is received, and automatically puts the speaker in standby if no signal is received for several minutes. The SW36HT powered subwoofer really gives movies and music a low-frequency thump. With its own 100-Watt amplifier, it doesnt rely on your receiver for power, but supplies itself with the means necessary to really drive those bass sounds home.
