Salve a tutti,
ho letto il vostro interesse per i lettori DVD di 3° generazione tipo(KISS,SNAZIO,ZENSONIC etc.).
Essendo io distributore dello Zensonic ed avendolo già da un pò posso confermare le ottime prestazioni (firmware 1.0)per essere ancora un pre serie.
L'introduzione sul mercato Italiano è prevista per Gennaio ,nel frattempo appena la casa madre mi darà l'OK organizzerò un Test sia su internet(spero AV Magazine-Manuti Ht projectors) se loro sono daccordo ,ed qualche rivista specializzata.

Giusto per rimanere in tema visto che si parla di Kiss 600:
KiSS Delays DP-600 to 2006!
KiSS-Technology, the first brand ever releasing a DivX capable DVD player a couple years ago is now in the center of a battle to ensure new products are 100% finsihed on release. This has caused severe delays in the past and again, today, we got confirmed another delay will be announced tomorrow. After delays week by week and being so close to production and shipments, KiSS again needs to delay the DP-600 series.
It's not going to be a Marry Christmas for the ones that have been waiting so long for the DP-600 to finally come on the market and it's only a small relief, knowing KISS will not release the DP-600 until it is fully finished, including the details that is causing the product to be delayed again.

Rumors stated that this is due Sigma 8620 Chip errors which KiSS states "is not true"! The delay has to do with our own fight to bring the best and most stable player on the market ever released and depsite our efforts done so far, there's still room for improvement and some smaller issues that we need and want to address."


KiSS has announced a News Letter to be released tomorrow with further info for dealers and resellers but iut's doubthfull it will hold enough details that makes us understand what the real issue is for this delay. Never the less, one could look at it positive as well, considering this might be the click that make KISS DP-600 go for the EM8622 chip which supports H.264. Only a wild guess but it's possible.


Other brands like Snazio* and recently the Z500 from Zensonic released in Australia, will profit of this new delay that KISS has announced. Trans-Gear who is releasing the M-20 this week also has a clear shot on the European market hereby knowing Big Brother KISS, a name that automatically is matched to DivX players, is not in play for second generation for at least 2 more months and which is like the Zensonic, completely build with inhouse firmware while others follow middleware from Syabas.


That said, no Big KiSS news no more this year. Seems as the VR-558 has to be "the" thing for KISS until we finally see the Dp-600.

Direi che con una motivazione o con un'altra fino al prossimo anno non se ne parla.
Speriamo che almeno alla fine il prodotto valga quanto l'attesa.

Non ci resta che rassegnarci ed aspettatre il 2007...(non so' se ce la faro') oppure pippomostarda non appena gli arriva l'H&b per capire se puo' essere l'alternativa giusta.
